Pattern
S + không / chưa + V
Put không before a verb or adjective to say no: Tôi không hiểu. Use chưa for “not yet”: Tôi chưa ăn. Use đừng for “don't”: Đừng lo!
Tip: Answer yes/no questions by repeating the verb: Bạn ăn không? — Ăn. / Không ăn.
Examples
Tôi không hiểu.
I don't understand.
Tôi chưa ăn sáng.
I haven't had breakfast yet.
Đừng lo!
Don't worry!
Hôm nay trời không nóng.
It isn't hot today.
