Pattern
nhiều / ít / vài / mấy / những / các / mọi / mỗi + N
Vietnamese nouns have no plural ending. Nhiều means many or a lot, ít few or little, vài a few, những and các mark a plural group, mọi means every and mỗi each. Mấy asks how many (small numbers) and bao nhiêu asks how many or how much.
Tip: Use a number with a classifier instead of a plural: ba con mèo, not ba mèos.
