Visiting Grandma in the village

Mỗi dịp Tết, gia đình tôi về quê thăm bà.

Every Tet, my family goes to the village to visit Grandma.

Nhà bà có một khu vườn nhỏ trồng rau và cây ăn quả.

Grandma's house has a small garden with vegetables and fruit trees.

Sáng sớm, tiếng gà gáy đánh thức cả nhà.

In the early morning, the crowing of the rooster wakes the whole house.

Bà dạy tôi nấu bánh chưng và hái rau ngoài vườn.

Grandma teaches me to cook bánh chưng and to pick vegetables in the garden.

Buổi tối, chúng tôi ngồi trước hiên ngắm sao.

In the evening, we sit on the porch looking at the stars.

Tôi luôn mong được về quê vì nơi đó rất bình yên.

I always look forward to going to the village because it is so peaceful.
